The Source Material

This is the usual term used to refer to the original documents written by Dr John Dee in the 16th century. They are still being kept in the British museum in London and the Bodlean museum in Oxford. It is well worth the time to read about Dee and to understand his passion and intent to bring this information to light. A great summary can be found following this link.

About John Dee

Below is a list of some of the books from present day authors who have made much of this material more accessible. For some these documents will not be an easy read but maybe of interest to some of you who wish to go deeply into the conversation that took place between Dee and the Angels.

Published works of the Enochian Source Material

“A True and Faithful Relation of What Passed for Many Years Between Dr. John Dee and Some Spirits”

This is the most well known publication of the source material and can still be found for sale. Below there are some tables that break down the source material chronologically as well as the manuscript references.

Enochian Vision Magic – Lon Milo DuQuette
This is by far the best work on the practical application of the Enochian material.

The Angelical Language volume I and II – Aaron Leitch
The author goes deeply into the grammar and pronunciation of the Enochian language and provides a comprehensive dictionary of the Enochian language.
